Hello Frenz, My SIL has almost 6 years of IT exp and is working in a reputed company. But she wants to change her company now (reason is growth) but she is into support project, mainly into middleware administration although her day to day work is not very technical and more into managerial. She is facing problem in clearing interviews cz of her lack of technical knowledge. She now wants to undergo some training to enhance her knowledge, what do you suggest? Will training be helpful or self study would do (considering we get good materials on net these days). Will Linux administration help her; she is OK to be a Linux admin as well. What is the typical Linux admin job like? Any other suggestion. Thanks!
She can apply for a managerial position as well..maybe project management. She will get a lot of technical material on the net. I would suggest that she join some user forums
