Storage of breast milk in freezer

Hi friends,
How do I storr expressed breast milk in the freezer - if I need to use it after a couple of months? I am trying to store it so that it can be used when I join work.
In the US, my cosister would use freezer bags. I dont know what is a suitable substitute here. Are they the same as small ziploc bags? I have small ziploc bags approx 12cm x 6 cm. Can I use those? How to sterilize these bags?

Fiona, don't use ziploc bags. They are not the same.
Visit a baby shop and ask for BM storage bags.
You can even order these online if you live in a city.

No, please dont use ziplock bags. If online ordering or visiting a baby store isnt possible, you can try storing BM in several small glass jars after sterilizing them. Thaw one 24 hours before use.
