stitch kit- tracing design on the aida cloth

Hi friends,

I am very new to craft. I bought a cross stitch kit from walmart brand is janlynn. I am unable to trace the design on it and i also tried stitching by checking the grids(may be my way was wrong).

In india, i have seen the design traced on the stitch kit. Do we get such kits here. so that it is easy?
Could anyone tell me how to start tracing the design on this cloth or how to know the grids?

Yea you are right,if its a ready made kit,it will have the printed pattern on it and Sample coloring of the same design attached.You can follow the sample or work with your own colors.why yours different????
Is that only a plain cross stitch cloth,Then whats the use of buying a KIT??:bonk

Hi,

its a ready made kit but here in usa i dont know if we get design printed on the aida cloth. i got one kit they have mentioned the design and the cloth is blank. i have to trace the design. do u know how to calculate the grid.

in the kit, they have given design separately in a thick paper and the aida cloth is plain what to do with this now
