    Orange Energy Smoothy

one small carrot + half apple + one orange, outer peel & seeds removed +rushed ice + little water.
I strained using a soup-strainer, so that the thickness will remain.
You can add more water, strain & use it as a juice.
Adding honey or sugar is one's choice.

    Red Smoothy & Pink milkshake

Do not peel beetroots, carrots & apple.
    pink treats-1.jpg
Wash, chop, add crushed ice & put in the blender with little water. Add honey if you prefer. Without straining, I use it as smoothy - it replaces breakfast.
Strain, add milk powder or milk & liquidise again to make it into milkshalke.
Use it as a drink with breakfast.

Sharja - name of a drink, friends!!

I learnt this from an ILite whose mother runs a juice parlour. This is a fast-moving drink there. Milk is chilled in the freezer so that when blended, it comes close to icecream.

    Blend together
2 bananas (elakis are best) small or 1 medium
Dates - 2 (soaked for an hour)
    Boost - ½ tsp
    Sugar – ½ tsp
    Chilled milk - 150 ml

    Mixed Fruit Smoothy(2)

To get thick smoothy, do not strain. Blend all ingredients straight away.
To get juice, add 1/2-1 cup of water, blend & strain. But with the combination of fruits shown below, smoothy is very good.
    I have added soaked apricots.

Lychee Milkshake - when the fruit is abundant!

For milkshakes, frozen milk & sliced & frozen bananas form a thick luscious base. I stock both & change only the main ingredients.
