Hehe, I was just thinking how Vadivelu would have translated this, hence the confusing translations.
"Don't talk all loose talks you!"

Back to serious mode now..."ahem! ahem!"

Angel you can start by counting. Malayalam is similar to Tamil so this might be a little easier for you.

    1- Onnu
    2- Rendu
    3- Moonu
    4- Naalu
    5- Anju
    6- Aaru
    7- Ellu
    8- Ettu
    9- Onbathu
    10- Pattu

The above is the normal way of speaking Tamil. If you want to learn the authentic tamil pronunciation, then the below is how you say the numbers:

    1- Ondru
    2- Irandu
    3- Moondru
    4- Nangu
    5- Aaindhu
    6- Aaru
    7- Ezhu
    8- Ettu
    9- Onbathu
    10-Pattu

    Simple conversations:-

    1. Unga peyar enna?
    What's your name?

    2.Ningge saptinggala?
    Have you eaten?

    3. Enna samayal iniki?
    What have you cooked today?

    4. Nalla irukinggala? / Epadi irukinga?
Are you well? / How are you?

    5. Enna padikiringa?
    What are you reading?

    6. Enga poringa?
    Where are you going?
    * be careful when you ask this question. Most Tamil people think that it's a bad sign to ask this, especially when the person is leaving to go.

    7. Naan saapura poren
    I'm going to eat

    8. Naan padukka poren
    I'm going to sleep

    9. Enaku pasikkidhu
    I'm hungry

    10. Avanga koyilluku poranga.
    They are going to temple

You might realize that most of the phrases are regarding food. I can't help it. My life revolves around food, you see:hide:
