    Recipe : tomato pasanda.

    To prepare stuffed tomatoes:
    1. Cut tomatoes into half, lengthwise.
    2 scoop out the inner part.
    3. Brush a little salt on inner portion of cut tomato.
    4. STUFFING - mix grated paneer, finely chopped cashews, raisins, coriander leaves, green chillies, salt n pepper n pinch of chilli powder..a little zing is nice for this recipe.
    5. Stuff the tomatoes with paneer stuffing.
    6. Oil the pan, dip the tomatoes in corn starch n pan fry the tomatoes. Fry the stuffed part facing the heat first...helps holding the stuff intact.
    6. Once fried, leave it aside.

    Gravy :
    1. Splutter the cumin seeds, 1 clove and a small cinnamon stick.
    2. Saute onion, ginger, garlic, some cashews, tomatoes well.
    3. Grind the sauteed mix to fine paste.
    4. Add a tsp of oil in pan, put 2 cardamoms and finely chopped green chillies.
    5. Add the ground paste n fry again for few mins..
    6. Add chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder and fry till u get rid of raw smell.
    7. Add enough water n cook till oil separates.
    8. Place the stuffed tomatoes in gravy and let it simmer for a while
    9. Crush n add Kasuri meethi.
    10. Finally add some fresh cream n turn of stove.
    Tada! Tomato Pasanda ready :)

    Sweet tomato? No. Will keep it a surprise. Maybe something really simple. :) Two? Why not? But not on the same day. I don't fancy a red coloured myself at the end of the day with so many tomatoes!

    Yea.. was scared of losing its form..should try next time.
    My aunt every time prepares tomato sweet pachhadi with veg briyani..Sweet spice combo..I like eating it as dessert. :hearteyes:
