I woke up, still squinting my eyes. Logged in to check if at least one potato will greet me.

Your [potato] dish has opened my eyes wide and I sprung out of my bed to boil my potatoes..

(rurrm...rurrmm..my potatoes are on the boil now).

There is good and bad karma. Bad karma is liking dishes as a kid but unable to eat now [due to unavailability or health reasons]. But this is good karma, disliking something as a kid but able to eat and rejoice now freely.

Love the bright yellow color! The sprinkled curry leaves seem to be plucked from the plant and tossed on the dish [ekdam fresh]. Grated coconut even in that yellow mix is unmistakably visible.

I am out on the road now.

I just had a shock with the participation, Mani the lurker, and the pictures and that melting haryali kofta. Yumsome!

The humble potato ki kismat badal gayi with this fare! Tikki seems to be the favourite.

Mani — what a smooth color and texture of your pan-fried tikkis!

Doree — your green and brown cutlets look very balanced and delicious.

Satchi - batatyacha rassa has the airs of some Bengali play. Love the floating coriander.

Salad, kofta, rosti ....only juice is leftover. You are truly wonderful. Love your creative ideas and seductive plates.

What's that ..the apple doesn't fall far from the tree but in your case a potato does not roll far from the ground. I like that lattice-shaped drizzle, gave the perfect lift to the food.

All your pictures are a tease to explore recipes. I might try that hariyali kofta. Looks too inviting in the mouth to ignore it.
