Dear Sisters/Brothers, I am glad to inform you that our beloved 'Sri Guru Raghavendra Swamy Jayanti' (birthday) falls on February 22 (Thursday) 2018. "Whatever your wishes to be prayed for, offering worship to Him with sincere devotion, they will be granted and fulfilled" cheers Sairam
Dear Sister DC24, Our beloved Sri Guru Rayaru just expects the 'SINCERE DEVOTION' only from us and nothing else. Every one has their own way of doing worship to their Guru. I have mentioned below some ways and you can choose any ONE among these which is comfortable and easy to do from your end rather than complicating things. 1) Naam Jap ('Om Sri Guru Raghavendraya Namaha') as many times as possible on that day. Telling Naama japa destroys our sins and has the power to reduce the difficulties which we are facing in our life. 2) Meditate on Swami's image OR His Holy Padukaas (feet) . Meditating on Guru helps us focusing our mind on Him and thereby we won't get distracted in any ways. It is ONE of the best but some what difficult method to get GURU's blessings since we need to focus our mind on Him as much as possible. 3) Doing Abhishekha (water/milk/curd, etc..) to the Idol of Rayaru. 4) Visiting His holy shrine (even if it is nearby to your home) and attend His Mangala Araathi. 5) Do Annadhaan (serving food) to poor and needy as it reaches the Lord easily. 6) Reading Rayaru's Guru Charithram helps a LOT more ways to solve our karma and thereby get His blessings very soon. 7) Doing many types of SEVA at Rayaru temple also helps in many ways to resolve the issues in our life and fulfill our desires too easily. 8) Listening and digesting to the religious discourse happening at the Rayaru's temple. 9) Offering any donations (even a small one also helps) to the temple. 10) Fasting (Only if you really are able to do. ) Hope it helps. cheers Sairam
Dear Sisters and Brothers, This is just a gentle reminder that our beloved Sri Guru Rayaru's Birth day falls on 22nd Feb (TOMORROW) and request all the devotees to get His divine blessings by worshiping Him on this auspicious day. "Om Sri Guru Raghavendraya Namaha" cheers Sairam
