I don't live in Torrance but in Cypress,Orange county i think it is about 20 miles , Ya you need to have about 10 posts to get access to pm but thats ok you can reach me.

I am Shruthi and am originally from Bangalore. I did my Masters from UC Riverside and I just got placed in a Biotech company in Torrance and will be moving there soon.

1. It would help me if you help me find a decent accommodation. I need to move within a week. I am looking to share an apartment/ as a paying guest. Any contact helps!

2. Once I move, I would like to make friends and have a good social circle. It would bee particularly good to connect with the South Indian community.

Try sulekha or laindian there are a lot of people looking for roommates , or just search on craigslist you can find indian roommates. My husband is also from Bangalore , we have several friends in torrance.
