some useful books for sewing enthusiasts on drafting a sewing pattern

I'm new memeber to this site. I loved this site very much.
I'm a working women and very much interested in stitching my own dresses in the limited period of time i'm having.
i have found some articles related to how to take measurements for salwar & kameez. Even i found the neck sewing techniques. But i need a information or video or books for the sewing techniques of different styles of kameez.

Could any of you help me in getting that information.
