Little different from the usual recipe. Hi friends or Mrs.Chithra, I dont know where should to put this query. Recently, viewed a recipe in TV for palapazha athirasam which want to make for karthigai deepam. It got erased automatically and hence, could not make it. Any clue ?? I just vaguely remember like have to grind riped jack fruit(3) and mix with jaggery syrup(no paagu), rice flour . This has to be done on stove and when it is slightly thick, have to remove. Then, can start making like athirasams. One thing not sure whether the syrup has to be mixed with flour mixture separately or on stove top. Pls pls, if anyone has this recipe, do share with me. Mrs.Chithra or other experts, any idea?? Thanks.

Re: ugadi pachadi Hi, Take neem flowers and separate them. Grate one raw mango. soak some tamarind in water and make a thick juice. Powder jaggery and take two tablespoons of the same. Mix everything together. Your ugadi pacchidi is ready. Wish u a happy Ugadi regards sujatha
Re: ugadi pachadi HI, Preparation: First pick neem flowers. Then great mango like small slices. Grate jaggery also. Soak tamarined then take pulp from that. First put grated mango, grated jaggery, salt, little chilli powder, tamarind pulp,2-3 banana, fresh coconut flakes(optional), neem flowers, and dhalia.Mix very well and your pachadi will be ready. I think in England u don't get neem flowers so u can omit that. My MIL makes the best Ugadi pachadi. My in laws eat ugadi pachadi just like pongal. For me, whatever I do something I feel it is not good enough. Here is the link for pachadi from one food blogger: Ugadi Pachadi - Andhra Delicacy Reflecting Different Flavors Of Life - Indian Food & Andhra Recipes from Sailu’s Kitchen Regards srilak.

Re: ugadi pachadi HI, Here, in Bay area we get neem flowers in some stores. Not fresh one, they dry it and sell it for 2-3 bucks. However, I bought only once then never bought that dried stuff. Now I prepare pickle without neem flowers. My friend useually get it from India whenver she goes there. So check in your local stores and some stores will have that. Happy Ugadi. Today I am celebrating ugadi with Ugadi pachadi, vadalu. and tamarind pulihora. Regards srilak. quote=ujwala;46208]Hi, iam from US thanks for ur recipie ugadi pacchadi iam from andhra too.
