skin turning harsh after using foundation

    hello friends,

    after removing foundation from face my skin is getting dry/rough/ and harsh. and to heel it, it took around 3-4 days.:hide:

    i these days i didnt use any makeup, but wheni tried for 1st time myself i tried with Clinique foundation.

    do you all feel the same and IF yes how do you manage ur skin after that.

    i recommend you stop using the foundation, or invest in a good primer and apply the primer before the foundation.

    Hi Siri, would it be that you are allergic/sensitive to this particular foundation? Have you started using it recently?

    i didnt use any foundation till now but on my wedding day beauty parlour lady has done make up for me. but i removed it after 3 hrs or because i have to get ready for reception.

    after that no make up or foundation was used.

    It is not advisable to apply foundation directly on the face.Apply enough moisturizer/toner/base let it absorb and then apply foundation.I uswed to apply toner before and after make up.So that face wont becomes dry.
    Just my 2 cents:)

    yes dear i moisturize b4 applying foundation.
    may be my skin is very sensitive to all that.

    Hi Sirisyam, try using bitique tinted moisturizer it acts as a moisturizer, but since its tinted it also gives the effect of a foundation.Its really good, only thing is you have to select the right shade for you. There is also Pond's tinted moisturizer, have heard good reviews but dont have a personal experience with that one. And another advantage of biotique over ponds is its herbal.
