    Hi,

Whenever I apply sunscreen lotion to my face and hands, the skin starts appearing one or two shades darker. If I clean my face then its back to its normal colour. I am not sure if this is how it is for everyone. I am using Lakme sunscreen lotion.

Whenever I go out for some function during the day time, I am confused whether or not to apply sunscreen. If I do not apply then there is a chance of getting tan. But if I apply then I look darker. I have a marriage to attend in 2 weeks time and I have been applying turmeric face packs. My skin is very fair now but since the marriage is during the day time I am not sure what to do, whether or not to apply sunscreen when I go out.

    Love,
    AmritaPoorni

    Hi AmritaPoorni,
Once while having a chit chat with a beautician on sun screens she had said a lot of people did complain about this when using Lakme sunscreen. Try changing your sunscreen. Sun Block,Natures sun screen lotion,Biotique sunscreen are a few good sunscreens.

Thank you amihere for your reply. Since I was using Lakme from the beginning so did not know how other sunscreens are. Will try other sunscreens and check.
