Last month I traveled to Dubai. I was not in a mood to enjoy the flight. I traveled alone without anyone escorting me( my husband or son) I boarded on my place after completing all formalities and cordially Welcomed by the crew. I looked around is any of familiar face. On my right saw one family consisting of Man...his mother, wife and 2 kids . He arranged things on the cabinet and he was holding the baby who was 6 -7 months old . The elder son who was 3years old who wanted to sit on the window side there that man's Mother seated it might be her first flight travel.. he patiently spoken to his son and settled Him to sit. Then announcement came to fasten the seat belt. His mother didn't know to put properly Actually he tried to help her but she wanted to do on her own,she again called her son he seated behind them. But he got up and did with the baby in his hand. If he let the baby to his mother or wife he or she started crying. After some time his wife asked for feeding bottle which was in cabinet He took and help his wife to fill with milk. In the meantime he took his mother and son to lavatory. The baby who refused to sit his father on the seat. The co passengers were watched all these with irritated sight and teasing smile. The man who was not seated on the entire travel. Flying time 4 hours. He didn't show any tantrum, anger or any...to his family members He was so composed and kept his face smiling through out the journey He never minded the co passengers attitude or thinking, for him they are nothing His family is precious to him. Their needs are concerned to him. They are the one Who are all stand with him in his good and bad. Feeling good In today's world many Men and Women who are forgot to smile at their family They may talk and laugh at their work place because of official work to be go On in a smooth way. They wear a mask of frustration, stress, etc...at their family members They think family as "Taken for granted "
Very thought provoking one. We behave so very well with outsiders, we are very careful what we speak and how we convey it. But, with family members we are so careless.
Very nice to read......it took me some time to understand and cherish my DH's love and son's adoration. In the end, family is what matters and are the ones who are with is till the end
Very rare to find such men who give priority to family. The man is an example to follow - a doting husband, caring son & an affectionate father.
Good one, co passengers should have learn some thing from him instead of staring at him or making fun of him....
