    Silk Smitha’s brother Nagavara Prasad has filed a police complaint once again that his sister did not commit suicide. He has alleged that there is a mystery behind his sister’s death but the police did not unearth it when she died in 1996.
    After 15 years, Nagavara Prasad has filed another complaint seeking justice. In his complaint, he has said that his sister did not commit suicide and those responsible for her death should be brought to book. He also alleged that Silk Smitha and her close friend were at loggerheads over property dealing and this might be the reason behind her death.

    Good work Sandhya. good to hear women praising her atleast after her death. When she was alive, I haven't seen a single woman leave alone praising, even admitting that she is a good dancer or actress. Thanks to Milan Luthria and Ekta Kapoor for making a Movie on Silk Smitha. Let our countrymen also be aware there was a soul named
    smita who existed in the cinefield deep south and the hardships she had to face.

    Sherin, the type of dancing that she used to do was a reason i believe. and in those days, say in the early nineties also, we never knew actresses lives.. we only knew little about them through magazines. we never knew the hurdles in their life, their emotions and the difficulties in their personal life also. Thanks to the growing technology today we can atleast pay homage to few souls like these....

    Actress Anuradha, closest buddy of Silk Smitha had told on an interview that Silk had called over phone to visit her immediately as she was under some stress. But Anuradha had told that she would meet her the nextday not knowing the seriousness. The very next day Silk commited suicide :(

    very sad... but i now feel for anuradha.. what might go through her when she thinks that she could have stopped smitha's death....
