Congrats and all the best for your wedding coming up!

I have heard of many of these shops which have been given by the others, I guess most of them are good. I am recommending one that I have visited and helped some friends buy 2-3 expensive designer sarees for wedding occasion.
That is VARSIDDHI - at Balfour Road, Kellys and also at GN Chetty Road, T.Nagar. I believe they also had/have a sale for a week.

Hi everybody

What are the good shops in Madras for kurti collection. Not the long
ones but the short ones which can be worn with Jeans? It would be great if you could suggest shops in and around T.Nagar

West side has some nice kurthis. fabindia also has some nice collection (spencer plaza). pothys,chennai silks, rmkv everybody has kurthis section now.

You have Nalli, Kumaran, Naidu Hall in T Nagar area. You also have Vibha in alwarpet and many other boutique shops in Alwarpet area.

There are quite a few tailors in and around T Nagar, Alwarpet, who would provide quick stitching services for a fee.

they have embroidery as well as stone work on silk sarees.........

designer sarees u can go for gotiwala r diva at anna nagar...............
