    Hi Everyone ,

    This is my first post to this forum. I am Ramya and I am living in Chicago. I am doing my Masters and my husband is a Research Scientist .I have a son , Prithvi, he is 3 years old. My husband is currently looking for some good job opportunities.
    I always believe that God has something good in store for us. Since my husband is starting with his job hunt , I thought my prayers will help him find a good job for all that he is worth of and something he would love doing everyday. I was searching for some slokas/ pujas / vratham that I could do on my part, for him. I came across the Siddha Mangala Stothram. It was mentioned that it could be done for any guru. I am a staunch devotee of Guru - Dhakshnamoorthy. Can this puja be done for him. if yes is it the same procedure. Please ILites help me with your wonderful explanations. I have been reading so many of your replies , its been more than 5 hours and I am still not feeling bored. This forum is really wonderful . Thanks in advance.

    You can do this pooja/parayan for lord Dakshinamoorthy.
    As Lord Dattatreya is god of all gods and Guru of all Gurus.
    Procedure is the same.

    Dear Saras,

    I emailed to this blog a couple of months before asking details about SMS, I did the pooja and the happy news is that my husband and I have been approved the green card. I truly think that it is a very powerful slogam and very wonderful too.

    Thank you , I will be continuing it all through my life, if God permits.

    This is Ramya again. I am planning to start another 40 days of SMS vratham . Just wanted to know if tomorrow, 26/11/13 ( kalabhairavashami ) is an auspicious day to start or please let me know if you have any suggestions.
