True. If there is a post which is unacceptable in terms of the forum rules shouldn't there be a warning for that person instead of deleting the other members opposition for the same. The snippet written expressing a person's displeasure against perversion is closed but the person who had made cheap comments in his snippet is let free. Can't but laugh on the explanation given by the moderator.

We have done this appropriately in the past, when we see at least 'few posts' if not all, makes sense and are decent to stay for public viewing.

Such inflammatory posts are made craving for attention. Most of the time people find it hard to ignore it, not easily done as said. As a result, a vibrant community like this is left dirty. As admins and mods we have all the rights and responsibility to take the decision to keep it clean as much possible.

BTW, if I remember right, there were atleast three threads that got started one after the other on the subject 'hypocrisy', not even having patience to hold of until the moderator takes action, so forget about ignoring!

The original thread which got so many subsequent threads started is let to stay after the necessary modifications. The poster has been contacted (warned) to inform what is not allowed/acceptable here. The subsequent threads were closed for further discussions with a closing post and eventually removed.

Moderating a community as big as this isn't a joke to laugh about. It appears to be easy and to be unfair when viewed from outside. Let me repeat - those who have been here and done it only know the hard labour put in place all these years to make this community stand for what it is today!
