Should I Take I-pill ?

Yes, you can take the I-pill, make sure you take it asap, within 48hours of IC.
Do talk to your obgyn as well, keep her informed.
9th day is borderline, dont take the risk, if you are not intending to get pregnant now.

 

As bubble said, take pill asap. Don't take risk that it won't happen. My friend did same mistake and she got pregnant n end up aborting it. Instead of doing extreme steps later better take ipill now without fail .

 

Also do discuss with your obgyn regarding some contraception before further IC. Esp. since condom breakage was the reason, you need to discuss your options.

It can be taken upto 5 days after unprotected IC, but it's effectiveness reduces drastically with time after IC, so best to take sooner.
Just in case somebody needs to know.

 

You can't predict ovulation as it differs person to person. There are some people who have got conceived right after their periods.
I don't know when did the IC took place? If it is within 72 hrs, you can take the emergency contraceptive pill. It worst well if taken within 24 hrs though. However they still suggest the 72 hrs window.

If you havent taken any contraceptives during the first 3 days, then it is unlikely to make any changes. Wait for the periods. If not, check whether you are pregnant or not.
Consult a gynec and see anything could be done.

 

Ipill is effective within 48 hours of IC but cannot remain 100% dependent if it will avoid pregnancy.
