shopping in Sowcarpet

As far as my experience, bargaining is lil bit difficult in these shops.. Also I feel that the cost is high..

 

how much of a difference in shopping between t nagar ( pothys, nalli kumaran, etc) and sowcarpet area.
is it becos they are cheap or becos of the variety. i have never shopped in sowcarpet area, so just wondering. actually haven't been to tnagar recently too. did shopping few yrs back in tnagar.

 

can I get bigger sizes clothes there?

just read the thread, was informative. I need different kinds of cotton fabrics like silk, raw silk, jute, etc in meters (around 5m).... Can you pls suggest place near sowcarpet / washermenpet

mangaharam doesnt hv cotton varieties....
