    Shlokas for marriage Compatibility

    Hi friends,
    Could you please tell me which Slokas to recite or which God to pray for marriage compatibility, to have a happy married life without any misunderstandings and quarrels. I will be waiting for your replies. Please help me.

    My 50p worth input.

    Generally astros say problems in married life occur due to Kethu bhagavan's dominance. This is typically driven by Egoistic character taht results in short temper, quarrels etc. Its essential to control anger and words.

    AFAIK, prayer to Kethu bhagavan is chanted as follows..

    Om Bhalasa Pushpa Samhasam
    Tharaka Griha Masthakam
    Rowdhram Rowdhrathmakam
    Tham Kethu Prana Mamyaham.


    Pls chant 7 times daily.

    Believe it or not, though I am unmarried, I chant these to avoid future tensions.

    Sri Lahshmi Narayana Hrudayam

    Sri Lakshmi Narayana Hrudayam Is in Atharva Veda. It is in Sanskrit. This book is available at Lifco. It is printed both in Sanskrit and Tamil.It is given in detail how to recite the sloka and the benifits we could achieve. I am reciting this sloka for more than 30 yrs. At least it will take 25 minis to recite the sloka.This contains Sri Narayana Hrudayam and Sri Lakshmi Hrudayam. We have to recite both together. In my personal opinion this is very benificial. The casett is also available at Giri Trading and other shops. It wiil be helpful for those who could not read the Sanskrit version.

    Thanks a lot for your suggestion. I usually read the whole navagraha stothram regularly. But as you said, I will read this particular slokam 7 times.
