Sloka for Baby Girl

Dear ChitVish & Ilites
Do you know any slokas/stotrams for conceiving a baby girl? I really love girls and I would like to have one. Pls suggest me some slokas/pooja for getting baby girls.

I have given shlokas for begetting children, but specially for girls - I do not know ! As you chant the shlokas, make a strong intention to God to bless you with a healthy girl baby. That will work, I hope.

Sloka for babygirl

Dear GVI,
Chanting of Lalitha Sahasranama in the house ,when you are pregnent, certainly helps to get a babygirl. Some of my friends tried this and they are all blessed with a baby girl. May Lalithambika bless you with a baby girl.

1. Can I start chanting lalitha sahasaranama before conceiving
2. can i chant in train instead of home because i leave very early in the morning or is evening fine too?

To get a babygirl

Dear GVI,
Since Lalithasahasranamam is very sacred , try to chant at home, not in the train. You can start chanting before conceiving. If it is not possible for you to chant everyday , chant on friday evening before a lighted lamp, and little boiled milk with sugar as neivedyam. After chanting do arathi and consume the milk.
I am sure Lalitha Tripura sundari will bless you with a beautiful baby girl.

Which Deity Sloka are these ?

Dear Ladies,

I got this slokam from a book...I am not sure to which deity this slokam is related to . Those who know please tell me ! I need to know.

1. "Nithyaananthagiree varaa bhayagaree soundarya ratnaagaree I
nirthoothaakila gora paapanigaree pratyaksha maaheshwaree
praale yaasala vamsa bhaavanagiree kasee puraatheeshwaree
pikshaam thehati krupaa valambhanagiree maathaanna poorneaswaree II"


2. "Megachyaamam peetha kelacheyavaasam
srivatsaangam kausthu phodhpaasithaangam I
punyopetham pundareekaaya thaaksham
vishnum vande sarvalokaika naatham II

I feel 2. is part of some Vishnu stotram, if so what is the Stotram name ?

The 1st one is for Annapoorneshwari. The second one is for Vishnu. The first one is part of annapoornashtakam. The second is a part of Vishnu Sahasranamam

Thanks for the clarification...I was wondering whether the first sloka could be for annapoorani as suggested by the last word of the sloka...I just wanted to understand for which deity this sloka is dedicated before starting the chanting !
