    Dear Padma,
Thanks for giving your time to read the earlier episodes of SHE.
Consider it a blessing Padma, that you have a thick friend in your Dad. Tomorrow is the Father's day. Do something to him that will make him proud of you.
Thanks once again for liking my words,

    Varalotti sir,
Your writing made me visualize scene by scene. I liked the particular line which says women needs freedom more than anything. I liked when captain showed his other side by checking with her if Shalini is fine. But what's the use? It will be nice if he shows the same affection when she is normal. Your story has brought in varied personalities of human beings. I enjoyed reading!

    regards,

    Dear Sindhuja,
Thanks for those nice words. While I do it for all my stories, particularly for this story, I lived scene by scene before I wrote it down on my system.
Captain is typical of many elders of the previous generation who can show love only when something is amiss. At that time the other person might even feel irritated to acknowledge that kind of love.
And Sindhuja, I am happy and proud to learn that you have become a golden girl with 1000 plus posts.
I thought I will take the liberty of congratulating you here in my forum. May you write more and more. May you always remain blessed.
    regards,

    Dear Sridhar

I was very touched by these lines.

Contrary to what most men are prone to think, a woman’s first need is not . It is not even love. It is freedom - the freedom to be truly herself and true to herself.

Currently I am reading, " Standing alone in Mecca" which depicts the struggles and restrictions that are thrust on women.

Also like these lines. Very powerful lines, indeed.

"Even the vibrant mehendi on her palms had not faded, while her soul did.

    Dear Usha,
I am happy you liked those lines. I loved writing them. Even my wife found the lines quite fascinating.
I have now made SHE into a novel in Tamil and a leading publishing house is planning to bring that out as a kind of pocket novel so that many could buy and read it.
"Even the vibrant mehendi on her palms had not faded, while her soul did.
I loved these lines quoted by you.
    regards,

    Re: Thanks Vandhana!

felt very very nice reading this episode...i felt as if i was reading about part of the rebellion nature i found in myself in my college days...all my friends used to say that i am rebellion and do what i feel is right and chose my path.....

very well written.....and also i loved the way you potrayed that not every rebellion is bad or makes bad choices out of haste.....here i go for reading the 3rd episode.....

    Sir,
The menu card comparison is very new and drwas a close parallel to life!!!
Shiva character definitely would have brought out lots of " If only I had a father like him.....".
When people really love what they do, then it never becomes "work".
Shalini is portrayed really well and bring sout the josh in the minds of readers.

    Regards,
    Viji

Thanks Viji. Yes you are right, many women who read the story longed for a father like Shiva.

The best things that a parent can give to his/her children is freedom and the intelligence to use it.

    thanks for coming in, Viji.
    regards,
    sridhar
