another one - there is a section called fashion tutorials - i dont know if its free or with pay - not checked - but the site looks good -

How to cut churidar

Hi all,

I am a new member. Could someone please send me how to cut a churidar. I would like to get a pattern (top & bottom).

hi urmi, it's simple ,first u practice in papper, after tht u tried ur cloth, don't shake ur hands while cutting, don't take out ur hand,u till finish the end.
top, 1. u take ur model top,fold length wise, the same thing for ur new cloth, new cloth u fold it comes 4.
2.keep ur nick portion in the right side corner, draw tht, draw ur body shape, & cut cut hands sepratley,
3. same method for bottom first try it in the news papper.

Hi Urmi I will tell you one easy method.Take an old well fitted chudidar , remove stitches and separate the parts.Use them as draft.You can change the neck pattern by copying the old neck design on a paper and drawing new design in different colour keeping the width and depth the same..This is for those who can stitch and do not know drafting the pattern..It really works ! I do not know the cutting of katori blouse.I fallow the same method.
