I am seeing tutorials for attaching cotton fabric to chiffon fabric, i.e. cotton fall to chiffon saree, but I cannot understand these ladies.

What sewing machine stitch do I use?

I got this Singer 1304 Start with these stitch settings

Some places I read use blind hem with walking foot (luckily I purchased the walking foot earlier)

Other places, a lady does zig-zag, and then tiny straight stitches. Can you tell me what she is saying?

    Please help!!!!!!!!!

So, if you remember, in India, in old times, fall was attached by hand and it was blind stitch, very less visible from outside. With machine, you should use same. However, blind stitch required blind hem foot and it can be bit tricky if you have not used before. So either practice on rough cloth before or sew by hand. You can also use straight stitch with hand, but try to make it less visible on outside. Also depends on your saree print/design/borders.

I practiced lot of blind hem stitch by hand because no blind hem foot available :-(

And I'm going to select thread with similar color.

Once I fix width of saree with rolled hem, then I'll attach the fall.

Wearing beautiful saree is learning curve indeed!
