    Hi All ILs,

I normally do all my alterations etc at home. I have a normal USHA hand sewing machine.
For normal cotton material the machine works fine.

But if I want to do some alterations on T-shirts, it does not work properly. The stitches are not proper.
Please let me know the needle number which should be used for T-shirt stitching.

Actually you can stitch T-shirt or knit material using your normal sewing machine. Just look for needle to stitch jersey or knit material in any craft shops. It will have a blunt end and used to stich stretchy material.
