An overall view.

It is always good to list out what you would like to have in your house and what not.

After listing this prioritise it. You may not have funds in hand to buy everything at one go. Then this list helps.

always try to finish the interiors first. As you can't afford to have the labourers walking in and out of your house after you have moved in. The rest can wait. Furnishing and other things can be done as and when your pocket permits.

Atleast that is what we did.

Please don't go overboard or buy too many things on EMIs. Its better to have a couple of things and a restful sleep that a dozen things and sleepless nights.

 

Before shifting..plan properly and maintain a list of the items that are packed in boxes. Try to pack important things that you need first in a seperate box so that u need not search for them once u relocate. Always have little quantities of the provisions packed among other things --this way u will not have to run and get the provisions in a hurry..You can always rearrange things later..so first try to accomodate whatever u have in the available space.
