I had both my deliveries in Seethapathy Nursing home. The nurses, helpers every one is very friendly. Dr. Uma Ram is a person who have a constant smile on her face and who is always ready to answer any type of questions you ask her. I had lots of questions during both my pregnancy.

My first one was an emergency c-section as daughter had troubles when my pain intensified. But as there was no problem with me Dr. Uma waited for normal delivery for my second. Infact I got admitted once and then had to go back and then come again, even after me telling her if nothing is happenning pls do me a c-section, she disagreed and said that she will wait for normal.

The rooms are well maintained and are clean and the rates are also very reasonable. There is a scan centre and a canteen also. The food for the patients are delivered directly to the room, and the person who are staying with the patients have to go and get the food.

I am sure you will have a great delivery under the able guidance of Dr. Uma. You have made the right choice, thats what I can say.

I am 16 weeks pregnant now and I consulted Dr. Uma yesterday.
She seems to be really good.

thats great that you have visited her yesterday.. This morning I had my first antinatal classes there with Rekha and it was really inspiring.. I hope you will also attend the classes conducted by her... when is your next visit?

I was in Uk and just came down to chennai yesterday for good check up and to be at home.I am in my 5th month now and have got an appointment with Dr Shobana Madhavan today afternoon. Can the seniors help me with their ouputs on the doctor?

Hi

The clinic is on Royapettah high road, next to Swagat hotel. Keep the phone numbers handy and u can call the reception if lost.

I have met Dr. Shobana last year and she is very patient and good. Both Shobana and dr. Uma answer ur questions patiently and do not scare you.
So just relax.

Dr Shobana mahadevan is very sweet and they are so kind.. so no tension just relax and go there.... Seethapathy clinic is in Royapetah high road...next to Swagath hotel... You will also find a petrol bunk near by...

If you could tell me from where you are coming then I could help u more...

Hi,

To be honest, I have no personal experience with either Dr. Uma Ram or Dr. Shobhana. But, I have been going to Seethapathy Clinic to meet the paed there for my daughter. I have been speaking to all the other moms there. Most of them have their delivery(ies) at Seethapathy Clinic and all of them had only positive things to say.

With regards to facilities, my opinions don't differ much from that of the others here - clean, well kept place. The nurses also seem to be quite friendly and there is a small canteen there which serves decent food. The pharmacy is well stocked with new-born items, so if you forget to take something, you don't have to rush around anywhere, you can just procure it from the pharmacy itself.

Dear all,
Let me share with you one more experience. After the good experiences I have had with Dr. Uma, both my co-sisters started consulting her. Elders to me they are and they too say the same thing, ask her any thing, she will answer you with kindness.

My eldest co-sister is even more comfortable with Dr. Shobana.

My SIL is also having her delivery in Seethapathy Nursing Home.
