Hi , I would like to start scrambled eggs for my 1 year daughter . As I am vegetarian, I never prepared any egg/non-veg recipe at home . I heard toddlers loves scrambled eggs,so I have to give it try to my DD . So plz guide me how to prepare this scrambled eggs ,so that she loves it . Thanks
because she is already 1 year old, u can give her whole egg here is the recipe: take a pan and add some oil. let it heat. break the egg and mix it such that it is broken into pieces. cook it on low flame until all the rawness of the egg goes away. add some salt and pepper BEFORE it gets cooked through otherwise it will be difficult to mix the salt into the eggs. Switxh off flame and add grated cheese. Serve to your baby. Hope she likes it! all the best!
The above poster gave you the recipe for scrambled eggs....just a little variation from my part. Instead of oil you can use butter (better taste). Or half butter and half olive oil (better healthwise). Also, before the egg starts to solidify, add a little milk....makes it a bit softer and tastier. Happy eating!
A variation on the above and my personal fav - beat the egg well with milk and a bit of salt before you pour onto the pan. Add tomatoes, onions and coriander and a final sprinkling of cheese to increase the volume and get some veggies in for a complete meal Vanathi.
1 tsp butter 2 eggs 3 tbs milk cheese (optional) salt & pepper to taste Mix all ingrediants in a bowl except butter.. heat pan add butter & the egg mix & keep stirring until everything is cooked. add cheese last enjoy
