Leave alone palatial temple, a large heart will do...not to talk/ find fault with others, but to 'do'...now can you give shelter for a homeless person for 1 night in your house? It is easy to talk but altogether different when it comes to action..Instead of criticism about not Govt or others doing anything about 'unifying' different faiths, or providing shelter to shelter less people, what have we done on that score in our capacity as a responsible member of the society? It will help everyone a lot if the haves 'do' something about 'havenots' in the time we spend time cribbing about the negatives. Ok, we can say that every responsible person is doing something in his/her own capacity, lot of people genuinely care of them and we can say that charity has also grown, people celebrate milestones & occasions through charity these days.... but where is the solution for the growing big gap? Only a few understand the value of life and resources they get and most, do not. Once they get something easily and for free, then it begets laziness and complacency, turning the situation back to square one as always, rather more severe which leads more cynicism as well as criticism.
