    Hello all,
    am performing vratam next sunday, i have few questions about food,


    can i make few curries and sambar, curd earlier day?
    or should i make it same day?
    can i taste the curry (am not going to offer this to god but for only guests) this is first time am making food in bulk for 25 guests
    am preparing prasadam same day.

    You must not taste and smell whatever you are offering to God. Rest you can taste. Make prasadam in madi (telugu word) or sauca. Prepare other food in a normal way how you do it everyday.

    you should not taste anything before vratam. you keep fasting till vratam is over. As about making sambar etc, anything without onions is ok. only curd can be made night before. and whatever curries you will be serving to guests can be made one day before if you are not offering it as naivedyam.
