Saree renewal

    My silk saree boder is tearing can we stitch new border by removing old border

    hi,

    in my moms silk saree the border and pallu is fine...but the silk cloth in body area is fraying...we thought of using the border and pallu for another silk saree..but we were afraid if it would affect the jari..its original and big..
    we should be able to properly remove border and pallu also...
    so you make sure tearing the jari alone and using another one will not affect ur saree's body part...better enquire about this to weaving people or in any pattu centre since its a silk saree
