S.N. Lakshmi - good actress. R.I.P

S.N. Lakshmi, who passed away yesterday , was a good actress. I was very amazed to hear in news that she acted in 1500 movies ! But she was always doing only mother roles from olden days. I dont know if she ever done young woman roles.
In mother role, she was always same, crying and doing long dialogs. But only in Kamalhasan movies, she was wonderful. Like in MAHANADI she has done so well.

But best I liked her was in " Michel Madana Kamarajan" where she will be Urvashi's grandmother, but a pickpocket lady, cleverly taking off things from everywhere . She was so wonderful. And then, she will plan Urvashi to get married to Kamal and make such sly plans ! It was good fun.

saravanan will carry her like bride for his engagement...in that old actress will feel shy and act good..i liked her for all silly talk with saravanan! RIP
