    dear all wonderful girls, can anyone of you start and all join a new 2016 threads... I really need your suggestions, guidance and motivation.... right now I am doing brisk walking at 10k steps with the help of pedometer...I know long way to go...have carcaneal spur in both heels but I am finding it comfortable with barefoot...

    Lovely day to run. I did not work out at all the last two weeks but had to show up today. Happy to have done a 12.15miler :biggrin2:

    Guys - I've started back after a loooooooong break. Wondering what everyone is doing.
    This week, I started back and that first run sucked. Muscle memory is an amazing thing because the subsequent two slow 5ks have been better.
    Anyone else getting some miles in?
    @Srama, @justanothergirl?

    I'm thinking of training for a spring half and hopefully I'll be able to get there. I might start logging runs here for accountability. For the next couple of weeks, I'm entertaining guests and am aiming for three 5k runs a week. If I can squeeze in a yoga class here and there great!

    Need co-runners(is that even a term) to keep my motivation up.

    Yay Laks! This is God sent for me :) I am just about resuming running, was aiming for first week of October but with you, I might start now as well. Goal has been set already - a full in May (Big one in my city) and I don't want to miss it. The training group will start only in Jan but I could start sooner.

    I will log with you - perhaps just 3 miles twice or thrice a week for starters.
