Running Club

    I've had a few really good weeks workout wise — two tough hikes, at least one run per week and lots of yoga. Also started circuit training and pushups. Averaging close to 10K steps per day. I want to build up flexibility and endurance before I start consistent long distance running. Far too many injuries this year to take chances now. I'd rather be able to run for the next 20 years than injure myself and have to give it up. Also watching macros and calories overall. Lost 2 lbs in the last 2 weeks and want to lose at least another 3-5 by the end of the year. Bought a rose gold sequin dress to wear for NYE. So looking forward to wearing it! : )

    Thanks for bumping the thread! I run but currently averaging once a week at most. Hopefully the new year coupled with some activity on this thread will get me going again. Welcome!

    I m still same; calorie conscious and an average of 7-8 k steps.

    stairs of running...i try to do at least once per day :)

    Weather is chilly, managing only a mile per day now but regular with that, 3 miles per week.

    Thanks to your updates I was inspired to get out on a chilly morning and put in 2.5 miles. Feeling wonderful! Ready for a new year morning hike with the family tomorrow.
