    Hu folks,
    Am tempted by the rotimatic.. but its 999$!! Concept wise seems like an amazing gadget.
    has anyone tried it and think it’s good? Any inputs appreciated!

    personally I did not liked this gadget. I feel its too expensive,waste of kitchen counter top space, noisy and not energy efficient.

    I agree. I think its too expensive to prepare only one item!
    I saw a live demo at a pop-up store and wasnt impressed

    Rotimatic rotis are perfect to serve abusive in laws. Thick and tough. Ensures that they do not stay for too long at the sons house and also reduces the frequency of visits. Plus also makes them value the DIL more. “Bahu rotimatic se achcha roti bana Leti hain”

    I wasn’t impressed either .Too expensive and can’t beat the handmade , soft fluffy rotis that puffs up on direct flame . If time is a constraint and you are ok with the texture , then maybe worth buying it . I also wonder what if it stops working all of a sudden . Can we get it fixed like other electrical appliances or does that hefty price tag goes down the drain ??

    As popularity picks up , I am sure better versions will come soon with much cheaper price tag so will wait for now .
