Genelia D'Souza and Riteish Deshmukh will be tying the knot today. It's seven years since they have been dating each other. Their wedding is likely to boost the box office collections of their film Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, which is due to release on February 24th.

Kumar Taurani, producer of Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya revealed that at one time, they had to picturise a wedding scene on Riteish and Genelia. The Genelia-Riteish affair is so popular that fans apparently thronged the sets assuming they were actually getting married.

Much is being talked about the on-screen and off-screen chemistry between Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza. As Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya is a light hearted romantic film, the audience would love to see the just-married couple sizzle on-screen. The chances of success of Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya at the box office is a strong probability. The two lovebirds have the potential to strike a chord among the movie-goers with their strong 'reel' life love story that has transpired into a 'real' one.

Stage is all set for the marriage of Bollywood actors Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza today at a five-star hotel in Mumbai. Riteish (32) and Genelia (24) have been seeing each other since their Bollywood debut Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003. Their wedding ceremony will take place at Grand Hyatt in suburban Santacruz from 12 pm onwards.

This is the first big marriage in Bollywood in 2012 and this happens to be the next much-hyped wedding ceremony of B-Town after Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi's marriage. Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza's sangeet ceremony was held at Taj Lands End hotel in suburban Bandra on January 31. Reports suggest that two ceremonies will take place - a church wedding and a Maharashtrian one.

However, in run up to the main ceremony, a pre-wedding bash was organised by actor Fardeen Khan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala on January 25. Besides preparing for the big day, Riteish and Genelia were also busy promoting their forthcoming film Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, which will release in theatres on February 24

 

Love definitely doesn't restrict itself to any caste or creed boundaries as proved by long time love birds Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza. This Bollywood couple is the first one to tie knot in the beginning of 2012. But something really interesting about the marriage is that the couple will wed twice.

Since Riteish is a Maharashtrian and Genelia a christian, the duo have decided to marry twice. According to reports, they will have a Church wedding and a Maharashtrian wedding. The church wedding is likely to be held somewhere in Bandra and will be attended by only close friends and family members.
