Ringing in the New- Making the World BETTER!

One more year has ringed out in despair and one more year has ringed in with the hope to make this world a better place to live.

Mankind was not put on earth to make it better. It was best but first, we reduced it to better, then to good and then to bad. Now we want to make it better, if not best.

It was not, however, intentional. It just happened. We unwittingly did it in many ways by preoccupying the urge with our self, our problems, and our pleasures. In the process, we harmed our relationship with fellow humans. We destroyed the peaceful tranquility of nature always taking from it but never giving anything back. When we realized that we have almost reached a point of no return, we became restless.

Now we want to make it better. There are candle lights, processions, protests, banners, speeches, resolutions,promises, laws, and what have you. What a fallacy!.

But we do not want to come to the basics. Charity begins at home. Pointing fingers at others will not help.
