    Hi,
Planning to buy a plot in chennai for residential purpose. Saw few plots in velachery (padmavathy nagar), Pallikaranai (Shanthi nagar). Want to understand that only salt water is available in these areas.
And also whether water will get clogged during rainy seasons.

Please help to give ideas about these areas

Thanks for the reply. What about pallikarani. Only salt water. And no water clogging. Any idea?

Just curious what is the rate. Where in padmavathy nagar.. on the metro line or inside. Remember the height of the road is a little higher than the areas behind. Water logging is a issue. Water will be hard.

Pallikaranai too depends on the area

Velachery has a chance of getting drainage and water connection before pallikaranai. Once the metro from velachery to guindy is over the sewage and drainage works will be done. Hoping..

And remember these are the areas that are prone to document issues. And be very sure because there can be offloading to use the new window of time that is available.

Rate in pallikaranai is 5000 per sqft. Velachery is 6500 sqft. All are cmda approved. Medavakkam also 5000 per sqft. Prefered pallikaranai and velachery since it is coming under chennai corporation.

Now confused because of water logging and salt water.
Velachery plot is in vijaya nagar. Jus 1km away from mrt station. Looks road is high and good. Ans also i think drainage facility is there. Not sure.
Not sure to take decision. Thatsy thought posting here will get more views
