You are right.Teachers dont have to exercise their minds when the the stereotyped,text book answers are given.They have to spend extra time when a different presentation is made though the ideas are correct.Afterall they are burdened with correction of a large number of papers.On the other hand an imaginative way of presentation in essay writing or debating competition always scores high because there is no ready made reference material but only the originality of ideas or presentation counts.This is an interesting subject you have initiated and in the process sown the seed fora snippet with case studies.
