I am very amused by it .:)
I was feeling bad that I reported her post without first objecting to it...but now I feel not guilty.

As for mangoes...anyone else feels they are not so tasty this year....may be the ones in the market are from storage because I haven't seen ripe ones on trees yet.

You are in danger of all of them ripening at the same time.

Place some in fridge, some in a cool place in the house (but outside the fridge), some on kitchen counter, and some in plastic-bag with bag tie closure.
The ones who cannot breathe (sealed in the bag) will ripen first
The ones on kitchen counter will ripen next
The ones in colder locations will ripen next
The ones in the fridge can be taken out and acclimatized to outside one by one.

Recently some worrying handwringers on TV were lamenting 450 ppm of CO2 in the air. 400 ppm was supposed to be the no-return point for global apocalypse. Arctic Ocean beach in northern Russia got to a balmy 84F yesterday! All that tells us is that Fruits will ripen faster in the new world. Hooray !!
CO2 Important for Ripening Fresh Produce

Messages like this should be in Caps. Much needed for many OPs here who often forget this basic thing.

Do you mean Cur-sive or Curse-ive ? We have had enuf of caps writing for a while, in the algebra thread that went by.

After I had written that advisory.....I had to write an explanation for why I had posted that seemingly unconnected thing at the OP who had felt like a dunce and a doormat, and needed solutions.

"Staying (healthy and) alive to fight another day" is a generic good idea when all seems lost. And while doing that, it is also a good idea not to make unnecessary enemies.
