I didn't understand what happened at first. Then going back to where it started, one could see when memes and euphemisms are not accessible to some, and they run off with the literal, and get committed to a stand, confusion ensues. And besides, like a parlour game called "rumour", each time the concept (of "mother routinely feeding married adult son in mouth") is commented upon, qualifier-words like routinely, married, and adult get chopped off.... and more mayhem happens.

Ok. I thought you were again upset with people spending time here.
No, I wasn't upset. I was making light of my busy schedule to make it easier for me. Laughing at things that I cannot complain about helps me a lot. I need to make note of that, lest I forget

Back in the day, when I forgot, I got told to write things down, making a list, putting reminders on post its etc etc(Didn't have cell phones waaay back when we were newly married).
Now, DH will say "It's ok babes, I'll remember for you". My DH has come back home after getting halfway to the airport to bring back keys because I forgot to take key while leaving home to pick kids. Could have said deal with it but didn't. He has driven like a zombie to bring my OCI card forgotten at home and found only during check in - could have said your problem, don't go to see your parents or go tomorrow but didn't. He has come back from flights at 12.00 AM and gone out to get gas at 5.00 AM because I forgot to fill the night before. He has run to the nearest ATM countless times because I use up cash in my purse and his wallet and forget to tell him. When it's time to tip the Valet, there's no cash anywhere. He's never lost his temper or told me to deal with it after those tips back in the newlywed days!
I empathize with forgetful people because I forget, all the time.

Now, if someone posted something here, way back, I remember that very well. I did up that post, throw it in their face and say hey, you said this

Dear Ms. SinghManisha, I always believed especially boys have to be independent for cooking cleaning or for their laundry. If the DH is the sole earner, DW does have to take care of the house or else work and hire a maid to do house work.
There are DWs grew up and remained a baby to their parents; perhaps does not want to take the marital responsibility.

No one is debating division of labor here. The husband earns,house wife cooks is not the debate.Husband expecting wife to cook Maa ke haath ka khaana under supervision of Maa is the problem. Specially when the wife does not seek the training. Marital responsibility does not involve replicating MIL’s cooking.
