    Happens often to me too. Post forms in the mind over the day. By the time I get around to posting, I've forgotten some of it, or just lost the flow. Like forgetting what exactly wanted to scold the child about. : ) Or better-half. : ) Then, I think chalo one post less to account.     Pregnant or not why are people penalizing a human being for forgetting to carry money ? What if tables were turned and the wife refused to give up on the Saas Bahu serial she was watching and did not pick up the husband ?

    There is a difference between coaching and commanding. Everything is relative and depends on the relationship between MIL and DIL. If DIL recognizes that she is loved like a daughter, it may not bother DIL if MIL did coach; she may even be grateful.

    I was thinking of a harmless prostrate exam. He is perfectly capable of taking the bus but forgot to carry money.

    I take a ton of breaks and dream about the time in the future when my only problem will be to decide on the Korean TV serials to watch! The freed up friends talk about all that.

    I wonder what DHs do in the car while waiting. Today I heard the car start while I had just gotten out of the shower.
    I've done the mismatched chappals too. Thought I was the only one! Earrings, I carry a pair in my purse :)

    Actually thinking back to my ob/gyn appts, I have to say the guy does come across as insensitive. I remember bringing the sample from home, or going to restroom in clinic, talking with overly cheerful nurse, getting undressed, putting on that silly cotton or paper gown, waiting for doctor who used to take his own time, then the poking, prodding, getting off that high exam table.. putting back clothes on. Asking doc all questions. Going out, again line, again take next appt.

    Pros. exam is equivalent of woman's second or third month visit. second or third trimester onward have to up the stakes/exams. : )

    Why coach or command ? If a woman is considered old enough to marry and have children I am sure she can handle making basic rice and dal.
    Better still why not coach the son so he can contribute in the kitchen and keep enjoying maa ke haath ka swaad ?
