Regarding face cream for dry skin

Hi frndz,

Can you suggest me a face cream for dry skin.
I used to use Olay NaturalWhite till now... But,.... as per the news (in paper) there are dangerous chemicals mixed in the face creams/lipsticks (like Mercury mixed in face creams and chromium/nickel mixed in lipsticks) which effect our health when used. This was confirmed by CSE (Centre for Science and Environment). It seems that these dangerous chemicals are found in some of the herbal products also. So, i wanna change the product.

So, please let me know your suggestions on the best products on what to use....

Or any one know how to prepare face cream at home. I think this is the best option to go for.... but i dont know how to prepare this. So, if anyone knows plz do post for this.

for dry skin u can use milk cream, homemade butter. but this is to make skin texture look moisten and fresh.
but for cream for daily use, i am too waiting for any suggestions:confused2:

Nalini,

You can try clean&clear moisturiser for dry skin.Its a lotion which gets absorbed quickly and very light.You can also try Body shops Vitamin E moisturiser and whitening and brightening emulsion from Lotus herbals.

Applying cream of milk,almond/olive/coconut oil daily helps you to keep your face moistened.
I use almond oil every night and cream of milk occasionally.If you have access to fresh turmeric(not the ground one) you can squeeze some juice out of it and mix it with cream of milk.

When i step out I use biotique saffron moisturizer.I am loving it.Before winter started I was using clove face cream from fabindia and it suited my skin very well.But it dries out your skin in winter(or if you have dry skin).
