    OATS is wonderful for cholesterol.
    we tried it for my husband according to his nutritionist's advice,( since he had cholesterol ) and it worked wonders .

    I have tried alsi or flax seeds for my husband with excellent results. 1 teaspoon of flax seeds (raw) to be taken everyday.Try it friends. It gives results.

    You can add flax seed powder to even curry or sambar or any gravy.Taste does not change at all.

    Kanaka, thank you for that tip. But will it give any sticky texture to the food, when added? Can we reheat such foods again?

    Even i have cholestrol. i started walking and using rice bran oil now for the past 2 months. please suggest me whether it is good to use rice bran oil.
