This is a old sweater that I knitted when my daughter was 8. she is 16+ today. The pattern is nice (my own..self brag!!!!) and also the condition was mint. Daughter wanted to wear it again and felt that it was a little short and also tight. so, i removed all the joining, (I usually weave a few strands of yarn along, for future use in case of sweaters) and added a few dc at the end and rejoined the whole thing. you cannot find out the joints or the extra stitches.. and also the tension of the yarn, the stitches used helped in giving that pull. so when knitting sweaters for growing kids, always make it in patterns that can be stretched real well and also weave in a few lengths of yarn in the joints so that it comes in handy in case of any snag.. the pattern the sweater.. C and C's are welcome.
