Step 1: Dry roast the Coarse Rave for some time( Till you get the aroma) on a low flame and keep aside Step 2: Add some oil and fry mustard, urad dal, bengal gram , little jeera, cashewnuts, green chillis, curry leaves, coriander leaves. Fry for a while. Until you feel all the moisture is gone. Step 3: Add the dry roasted rave to this and mix well. fry for some time say 5 mins on low flame. Mix some salt and grated dry coconut ( or desiccated coconut). Mix well and keep aside. Store this in an air tight container. Whenever you would want to make the uppitu. Just boil water and add this mix(2:1) ratio. Uppit ready.
