@Archanaanchan Archu, Once I saw a lady from Mysore on a cookery show who specialises in instant varieties the way you have mentioned and it seems, she gets regular orders from people going abroad. Have you heard of her? Now all these instants should be refrigerated, right? For how long can they be stored? I wanted to share this recipe with a friend, then all these questions also popped up
I know no one who specialises in these instant varieties and sells it Geeta I learnt these from my Aunt . This can easily be stored for 15-20 days outside . If you wish to refrigerate then easily upto 40-50 days . You can try Millets / Rave instead of rice here .
Congratulations on the nomination Archana. A simple, nutritous dish, not to miss the most delicious comfort food of all times. How about a pic?
Thank you so much @satchitananda . I feel immensely happy about you posting on my media. Pongal day | Indusladies Vacation prep | Indusladies Here are the pics of Pongal and ready to eat pongal mix from my media page .
Nice recipe. My hubby’s aunt had prepared instant Upma, instant Pongal , instant kesaribath , instant majjige Huli , instant Gojju avalakki to send it to my hubby wen he left to US. It stays for atleast 3 months . Actually it’s very helpful when you are really busy . But the problem is he wants to eat everything fresh . So I can’t prepare and store it for long . Max only 1 days old he eats not more than tat .
