Raw Diet .....My weight loss

    Hi All
    Wanted to share with everyone my Raw diet and my weight loss ...belive it or not it helped me tremoundously and its not boring if you make it a habit. Iam on Raw diet from last one and a half month and i lost 7 Kgs (wow :rotfl)after trying many diets (cabbage soup,banana diet etc )i failed badly ..My only fear was regaining my weight but not with Raw diet since i make it a habit ,Iam suffering from Pcos and i heard from my doctor that i should cut carbs in my diet well i actually heard it many times from many people coz i have this problem from last 8 yrs and iam obese iam 90 kgs and iam 5feet 5 inches ahhhhhhh lots of weight :drowning.i lost 10 kgs 5 yrs ago but after 3 yrs and gained it back .I was 80 kgs when i got married but now after 2 yrs of marriage i gained 10 more kilos Now my goal weight is 75 kgs so have 8 to 10 kgs more to loose ,.............Iam doing really good with raw diet i started my raw diet for a month i just wanted to give it a shot after 1 nd a half month my skin's glowing my body is in shape so its kinda fun i wanted to continue for some more months .....will update my weight loss to all my frnds ....if any1 need any help plz feel free to ask let's fight pcos togther

    Wow that's really a great achievement indeed. Eating the raw food all the 24*7 for one and half month is something extraordinary.How did you do that?

    Can you list out your breakfast, lunch and dinner menu and snack menu for us so that we too can try it out.

    What about the other members in your family.Is it possible to follow one diet for you and some other diet for your Dh and kid? I guess it's really difficult.

    Would like to hear from you soon.

    Gud to see your quick post ..My hubby is really supportive and no kids as of now
    I make proper food for my hubby and iam not 100%raw because there are certain things which i cant leave
    for ex tea ....since i cannot stop drinking tea so i start taking it without sugar once a day (morning )
    BREAKFAST
    I make green smothie
    recipe ......1 banana ,handfull of spinach,2 kiwi,sum kale etc i just blend them and add some water ,banana gives little sweetness which makes my smoothie smooth and sweet and sumtimes i add an apple
    (Honestly i dont plan bf,lunch ,dinner coz i eat after every 3 hrs )
    so after my smothie i make my salad its very important to cut everything very tiny for ur salad
    coz there are certain vegetable which doesnt come in our favourite list so when u cut things tiny it get mixed with diffrent veggies so it taste gud (i make my salad with cucumbers ,spinach,celery,asparagus ,apple,onion ,tomatoes,brocolli and some kale )I make 1 big bowl for whole day then i make vinagrette add 1 tbs of olive oil ,1tbs of honey or agabey nectar,one lemon ,salt and pepper according to taste i add all my veggies in the bowl massage everything so it mix well and then cover the bowl and keep it in fridge (1 more step which i forgot is what i do is take some yoghurt and hang that yoghurt overnight in muslin cloth to make hung curd)so after that whenever i feel hungry i take a small bowl add sum already made salad in that add a tablespoon of hung curd mix it and eat it (if u want a lill flavour add i tbs of alloo bhujia (i dont do that regularly but sumtimes))for snacking i eat almonds (handfull)in the evening i make one more smoothie without banana this time but add some other fruit for sweetness and then at night i eat my salad ..but yes i make diffrent recipe's everytime ..i do have a dehydrator so at times i dehydrate my smoothie which gives it kinda bread texture ad i stuff diffrent things with sum avacado i eat it with salsa .....its fun try it ........

    Hey thats really a great thing to hear from you...

    But in a very cold climate its very difficult to control my tongue :(
    If i try to control for 5 days then the sixth day i eat 5 times more than what i do usually...
    So there is no point :(
    What to do???????

    hi all,,

    there are lot of diet plans.. no carb diet, only protein diet, only liquid diet etc etc.. all of them show a weight loss but the bad effects of the same will come into light only after few years and by then, many things would be irreversible... so there is only one diet which is good for all and that is a BALANCED DIET.. u avoid oil and u get joint pain and you get a dull skin.. so always take advices from a proper nutrition specialist before getting into a diet plan.. also exercise is the only mantra which can keep you fit, irrespective of what u eat.. do only things that u enjoy.. the word diet itself can put u into lot of emotional stress.. it is just healthy eating and it is a new life style.. it will come with u for years.. so please do not do anything which u do not enjoy.. find diets and exercises that u enjoy and stick to it.. all the best.. :)

    So it's like in breakfast - smoothie afternoon - salad night- smoothie ,can I drink drink tea with low calorie sugar it's good ,or I can have snack like almonds
