    you have nicely coined the title with your pets name..
    but had a heavy heart when i came to the end....
    i can understand your feelings...hope when you settle in Chennai, you can find RAMU in your pet..

    First and foremost thanks for stepping in and posting such lovely comments. As a small girl I could not put my foot down to tell my parents that Ramu needed us and have to be with us..

    Very proud to see many of my friends wishing for his happiness.

    So nice of you to notice the title and compliment me..Ramu's end was very unexpected..I could not help mentioning this end but that was the ground reality.

    Thanks a lot for wishing me to get a pet like Ramu. God would surely grant if the wishes are genuine.. and with wishes from friends like you, he would never give it a second thought.

    A very good write-up about Ramu. I really felt sad to read that Ramu was taken by the dog van.
    After reading about Ramu, I am sure he is going to be Really a Memorable & Unforgettable Pet in many ILs' mind. Hope and wish in future, you find another dog like Ramu.

    Sharada..nice writeup. Sorry about Ramu..I pained me to know his fate in the end. It makes me think how we humans cannot understand animals and how animals, inspite of their fathfulness, caring and intelligence, just become victims.
    Really well written description of the whole episode.

    Jithiks..TENNIKOIT...oh my ...you reminded me of that rubber ring after so many many years..I just couldn't be happier. We used to play that all the time. Cool.

    What is said is apt but that is the bitter truth. I still feel guilty about Ramu's end.

    Earlier he was a dog but now he remains as a God in my heart of hearts.
